Thanks again for taking the time to capture these. So good to be able to see them. I'm definitely going to try and hunt down the discs. I have an Ambilight television and Hue lights in the same room. When you put on Ambilight + Hue sync these videos come to life!

I've been wanting to set something like that up for ages, but I just have too many windows in my livingroom.
It works well for the non-3D material. The Virtual Drug discs work best in a dark room, per the sleeve instructions.
Ambilight is great. Ambilight+Hue can be even better im certain situations. If you calibrate it right it has a follow feature. Example, watching Chernobyl, where the team go to the reactor it's pitch black. One of the team uses a flashlight to find a way through the water. The lights follow the torch beam around your room. It's really quite effective in the dark!
Remind me to set all of this before I do shrooms again, it'll be a blast! I already have lights in the bedroom that sync to my music, which comes from 4 different smart speakers, I just can't work it out with my TV for visual stuff.
That looks deadly. Some fun VJ equipment! I stumbled upon some fantastic music yesterday evening that would go great with that kit. Check out this Austrian guy, Demuja. He has a bandcamp page but I found him on Tidal in my recommendations.
In the middle of studying and I suddenly remembered about a great CD single I bought way back in 1994. I had a look on Tidal to see if it was available and indeed it is. In fact the whole album is there.
What album/song is that then?
Sven Vath - Ballet-Fusion.
I had never seen the video for the song before. I didn't even know if one existed for it. Yet here it is, in a 3min long radio edit form (probably for MTV or similar). I think it fits in with this discussion!
To be honest though the radio edit is an injustice. You want the full fat, full beans 9 minute 12 second long version which you can find on Tidal, and probably other places.
I've never heard the album before (it's advertised on the inside of the CD single, though I knew Ballet-Fusion was part of a trilogy of tracks. Those tracks form the last part of the album and comprise of:
Ballet-Romance Ballet-Fusion and Ballet-Dancer
This is really solid, gorgeous techno. Not a load of old trance cobblers or some utter helmet twiddling knobs on a Kaossilator and patching random sockets on a Moog for three quarters of an hour.
Also, it reminded me a little of a Bran Lanen track showcasing some seriously whopper Detroit techno skills on an MC-303. I had an MC-303 many years ago but could never get anywhere close to what this lad can do. The MC-303 is super difficult to get to grips with. I gave up.
This showcase reminds me a bit of early Dave Angel, Jeff Mills, R&S stuff. All the big Detroit masters too. Derrik May, Juan Atkins/Model 500 and so on. You can get a bunch of Axis and Jeff Mills works on DVD (The Exhibitionist et al). I think I have them all somewhere, need to dig them out again!
Oh and while I'm on a nostalgia trip, you can have this. The 'Liturgic Mix' of With Wit by Morose.
This video is a recording from the same 12" I had on Kingsize way back in 1996. Written by Massimo Braghieri, I think this 12" was the only thing he put out, at least under the Morose moniker? Regardless, it's a smashing track that really opens up around the 2 min 50 mark. It should suit a lot of you folks thinking of setting up visualisers or VJ'ing! Think I have the 12" somewhere, I couldn't bare to part with it.
EDIT: Didn't notice he has a Bandcamp page with the tracks for sale. Highest resolution I've ever heard the tracks of the 12" in and only £1! Support the lad.
Yet another stumble upon I feel should be added to your thread!
I happened to find a great channel on Alphabet's video streaming service called Meditation HD. Here's a superb 3 HOUR film to get you off and running. The music is a bit 'Goa Sprauncefest' for my liking, but the visuals are tremendous.
