Putting one in my freezer right now, will tell you after a few days.

I doubt anything will happen, and I will need for it to get to room temp before I try it in my player
if no warping occurs.

The year is 2025. The forums are abuzz with debate over the best way to defrost laserdiscs before playing, and whether this produces a "warmer" sound on analog tracks vs. playing the discs cold.

Serious question, WTF is the “warmness” of sound anyway? Is anyone who refers to this warmth actually able to describe it to anyone? It seems like when some tool is trying to explain why vintage analog stuff is better and they’ve run out of technical vocabulary they just say it’s “warm”.

Well I haven't played the disc but the freezer didn't do anything, its just cold.
I'm sure playback will be fine, didn't wait days but its not needed.

How many laserdiscs do those things actually hold?

Come to think of it, has anyone done the math to figure out how many laserdiscs (singles/gatefolds) a case holds when it's advertised as holding so and so many records?

They hold about 50 discs, counting single or double discs, not boxes, they to hold boxes but I never counted discs etc.
Also they get HEAVY, I think its over 60 pounds per case so its not very easy but you can put them on a handcart to move them.

Those are really nice but can't remember if you can stack those due to the handles.
I have the same ones but split in the middle so you have handles on the front and back.

And I'm only talking about the eurolite cases, not that black and silver one in the bottom right corner that is different.
I don't have pics of mine anymore on my computer.

Yes, those have mucho gravity. Overall it seems like a shelf of LDs weighs more than a shelf of LPs but that’s just my feeling.

the boxes that I don't have are the 3 EVA ones and the Nadia box with shipping container. I put both EVA and Nadia together in one.

Rooots Search plays fine in the LD-S1 so at least that is working unlike the CLD-79 for some reason.
