Lord of Illusions : Unrated Director's Cut (1995) (Uncut) [ML105294]

Starting out the movie is VERY effectively scary!!! It,s gruesome as well.... I've found that a large number of ld fans are into horror and splatter films... I am not included in this group. I must admit that the impressive packaging of this film made me buy it,thinking it was a good value for the money... Watching the beginning i was wondering if this would just be a waste of time and leave me feeling sick to the stomach... The plot develops very well.... The cast is top class, and the picture quality is fantastic.. I've just gotten to the end of the first side and I'm completely drawn in to this film... I hope it doesnt go downhill from here!!! Ill keep you posted!

Thumbs up!!

Barker masterfully spins this tale..a big suprise.... I'm not a fan of this genre, but this is well done and interesting to boot...

Great black embossed gatefold cover, stunning sound and music..reminded me too much of Batman at the opening but held its own..much variety as well....i dont have the abilty to play AC3 at the moment and the sound was fantastic..... A Cirque du soleil style illusion show.....great sets....

And on top of it all complete behind the scenes documentary, stills trailers...the Works!!!

i don't own this one but do feel it was one of the better films from him or his stories.
hellraiser was too low budget and some others i felt were to capatalize on his names and pump them out faster
than they shoud have.

this was a better one that he did.
