3M LD released in 1985. picture quality is GREAT on this one. taken from a film print, has the cue dots / markers for reel changes.
sleeve marks the date of the film as 1958. could be a typo?.

my disc seems to have a mastering flaw on side B at 25:39, it's about 1/4 or less on the top edge and lasts for only 2-3 seconds.

has amazing performances by Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, the Cadillacs, the Flamingos, Jo Ann Campbell, Eddie Cochran and more.

film is about Johnny no name who is trying to become a singing star.
typical 50s story, nothing great, it's the performances that you really want to watch on this.
all are lip synced but are amazing nonetheless.

if somebody has this please post a picture, there seems to be one in the collections but i dont' think it's a second release.

very rare Rock n' Roll film that is super hard to find.
