Its wicked its dirty its gritty and that's the way I like it. DNR EE free. Chapter 6, time 7m. 04s "You're lucky you don't taste very good". YESSS!! I don't know what line was used in that dreadful god awful bluray as I have long, time ago far, far away since forgotten about it...

rein-o wrote: now i have to watch this again. i think i last saw it around 2007 Yeah I saw you're comment on database. So its the other pressing that has the Chase Stereo sound check. I think my JEDI has that so I must have different pressings of STAR WARS and EMPIRE and I'm not grumbling I just noticed it at the end of the film and no CAV sides unlike JEDI and I guess the other STAR WARS EMPIRE pressings have a CAV side? I'll have to have look, but I do like, these pressing, rein-o. Also the gate-folder covers are super cool.

sdraper wrote: This looks fantastic. I need one. I still have about another 50 pictures and I have to take some more I had too much time on my hands night before last. I didn't watch the films totally one after the other, I had a small catnap I think and then watched EMPIRE around I think 8pm? and didn't finish until gone past 12am as I had to load the pictures up and play back the last few mins of the Laserdisc so it all added up near 4 hours over a 2 hour film. Yes get it is worth it and I can be far more fussy than any die hard 1080p geek out there and this is standard low definition but the DOLBY STEREO mix beats the bluray into the dust as the silly extra sound effects and voice overs has ruined it all and these earlier Laserdiscs are as near close than we can dream of. Jedi has some few dialouge panning on the early Laserdisc editions as heard as I remember in the cinema but wasn't at the time a listener (not for a few more years). But its all shot-away with the re-mix on CAV THX right though to the bluray nothing has changed much Han Solo no longer has his voice panned to stage right. "Luke, Luke" its all centred and doesn't make any scene when he off to right and the voice in the centre was Skywalker Sound at the time?
