Tomei Ningen (Invisible Man) (1954) [TLL 2513]

odd film, it is 70 minutes long, seems that there are some scenes missing?
and there are some scenes towards the end that are sped up with time, police coming into the nightclub
and they are running around all over the place.

Anyway lets review the film.

nice black and white film in full screen academy ratio 1.33
not too much damage on the film, but sort of regular for the age of the print.

starts out a driver seems to have hit something but can't figure out what then a body appears under the car turning visible!!!!!

he has a note and it seems that there are 2 invisible men, one that committed suicide under the car,
and the other one happens to be a clown walking around with an advertisement for a night club.

It ends up that he is a neighbor to a blind girl and her grandfather, the grandfather is killed
By the night club owner and his gang.

So the invisible man decides to take matters into his hands and fight them.

Some odd details of the film, the blind girl sings I dream of genie with the light brown hair,
And the music is played a few times in the film.

Cool special effects with a scooter driving by it self, you can see the extra wheels put on so it won’t tip over.

has trailer after the film, but it seems that the trailer is a newer made or pieced together from
the film with computer generated text added.

Overall a nice film for the collection of kaiju and Japanese Sci-fi

This film is also a loose war criticism that has been subjected to human experimentation for the purpose of military.

And 1954 "Godzilla" "Seven Samurai" has been brought from Toho.

it didn't say anything about the war subject on imdb and i don't know enough Japanese to understand that
now i have to watch it again.

even matango had the war subject, or i think i remember that.

Of course it is dance scenes here.

70 minutes is the correct runtime.
