Star Trek #107: Ultimate/Bread & Circuses: Disc #27 [LV 60040-107]

The shows get better and better with the character chemistry and we grow to like these fictional characters.

I like the sound mix quality on the shows and one of the names I have noticed is Gordon L. Day who mixed 26 episodes.

The ultimate computer was one of my favorite episodes as a kid. I still like it today even if the original series as a whole has lost some of its charm to me.

Same here. I have watched it 4 times early this morning.

Its a like those super computers like the Cray. Some of our personal computers maybe one day might be able to have a conversation with us.

I can't recall the show as much as when I was a child. I might have had liked other episodes, more at the time?

But today I like writing of the show and the performances.

The shows where about the characters not overdrive by visual effects. The effects served or maybe was restricted to the budget of each episode.

Also the "M-5" was redressed for later episode "Assignment Earth".

I see you have a bundle of STAR TREK on Laserdisc.

When was the last time you played some of them?

I still have a few posts reserved one since last week I think? So I better get around to watch that and then watch, "Bread & Circuses" which I have watched a week or so ago on DVD-RW recoded from BBC2 off-air around 1986. I haven't watched the OTS on DVD Dolby 5.1, in over a month or more now, as I'm getting back into collection Laserdisc.

great stuff, i liked computer episode.
it was fun watching the entire series on instant, even if it was junk with the added CGI.

i know it's a different episode but i always thought that the episode with the robot coming onto the ship
was really close to the movie.

I've been watching some of my TNG lately and slowly adding some of the episodes I don't have. It's been fun watching episodes I haven't seen since the 90s.

Splendid !
The Tantalus Field !
Nearly forgot about that convenient solution to so many problems.
Temptation might be too great to clean up more then necessary though !
Still the benefit may outweigh the RISK ..............
Thanks for that reminder sir.

Can another job be found for the M-5, would not want it to gather dust.............
Perhaps a corporation that is way off task and badly needing a course correction ?

Steps can and will be taken.......
M-5 report to Headquarters of Tyrell Corp. for next duty assignment ...........

Ah, the Beta V, will need to brush up on the episode "All Our Yesterdays" to remember the details on that one.
So,more compassionate then the M-5........
Perhaps a kinder gentler computer is needed to clean up good ole' planet Terra ........
Stay Tuned Kids .........
