Backdraft (1991) [PA-HD81078]

I finally decided to take some time to watch my copy of Backdraft.
And I'm really pleased with the quality of this Hi-Vision pressing.

I've tried to take some screenshots but it looks much better on my TV screen.
The dark scenes are surprisingly good, with very few compression noise.

The A Mode 3.1 Channel Sound Is really good and give a new dimension to This movie.
By far the best version available on LD.

Looks pretty washed out compared to the bezel. :\

Fantastic, thanks again for the great review and pics of a Hi-Vision tittle. The pictures look great but I know what you mean that they'd look a whole lot better in motion.

Have you seen the Blu-Ray version of this movie? If so how does the MUSE Hi-Vision version stack up?

I do not (and will probable never) own it on bluray.
So, I cannot compare the two.
