PLOT:
When the NYPD is unable to stop a severe crime wave caused by a Group of Ninjas called "The Foot Clan", Four Teenage Mutant Turtles - Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, unknowingly step in to save NYC from the evil clutches of The Shredder, when Raphael saved April O' Neil from being "Silenced" by The Foot, along with their Mentor, Splinter and new ally Casey Jones.

The film kept very close to the dark feel of the original comics, and is a direct adaptation of the comicbook storyline involving the defeat of Shredder, with several elements also taken from the animated series that was airing at the time, such as April being a news reporter, and the turtles having different-colored masks, as opposed to the uniform red masks of the comic. The film was the highest-grossing independent film of all time when it was released, and became the ninth highest grossing film worldwide of 1990 and the most successful film in the franchise.

Flying onto Laserdisc with a 1.77:1 letterboxed transfer, T.M.N.T is not bad on Laserdisc.
Picture Quality is good to very good, but the subtitles might annoy some.
Audio:
Encoded in Dolby Surround and loaded with Bass, this soundtrack is rated T for "Turtle-Riffic" and Features Alternative Dialog.
However, There are some Scenes with Sloppy Edits.
Overall:
The Only Letterbox Version on LD, and not bad.
