Show People (1928) [ML101539]nice silent film by one of the classic directors King Vidor.
begins with father and daughter coming from Georgia to have his daughter become a star.
nice comedy slapstick stuff going on, not the usual Vidor type film.
lots of cameos of other actors.
film is silent but has some sound effects of bells and cars etc. also a few songs, not done by the actors but as a soundtrack.
film has some major melt? damage for a few minutes here and there, not great but overall a nice print for about 98% of the film.
regular scratches and damage that would be from a silent of this age.
if you're into silent films get this one, it's worth it
