Gaia's Daughter (1996) [HE-202]

Another one of my Hi-Vision discs that I wanted to "review"

Tested with HLD-X9 & Panasonic TU-MDC100 Decoder.

It's a very good demonstration of what Hi-Vision picture quality can be.
A completely useless LD release unless you're die hard a fan of Mihoko, but it's still nice to whatch... once.

Nice looking captures you got there.
I like the fact the player is telling us this is HD. Feels so much more that this could be equipment of present day quality.

I really love these Hi-Vision reviews/screenshots. You take the best screenshots of LD in general period.

The quality of this disc looks so good that it looks like it could compete with certain modern HD content.

Yep, the "HD" sign on the HLD-X9 display is part of the Hi-Vision magic.
And, you're right, most of the MUSE Demo Discs can compete with Today's HD content.

The Test Disk being the most impressive of all the Hi-Vision discs I've seen until now.
