During time down at the hospital a package arrived that I picked up with my dad this afternoon. I saw the film first on VHS during the 1990's and few weeks ago on HD TV.
Action director John Woo, brings Chance Boudreaux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Hard Target (1994) here in dts. Ex marines are being hunted down by roughness (Lance Henriksen) Emil Fouchon and (Arnold Vosloo) Pik van Cleef.
Sound effects are sharp clear with dynamics delivered in PCM dts discrete over all channels, the Foley effects body punches are cool when it isn't blazing gun sound effects.
Laserdisc picture is good for the standard framed at 1.85:1 W/S with colours looking normal. I don't think I'll upgrade as most bluray are topically DNR on the Universal bluray label.

Digital freeze pause on Pioneer DVL-909.
This scene with sound effect made me cringe. Ding/Dong! Ouch that is gonna hurt.

Its worth buying for low price if you like, John Woo, Jean-Claude Van Damme in dts.
in those plastic blueisch cases but nothing can beat them (for now)
