Beethoven (1992) [086 564-1]
A very nice family comedy from 1992 in PAL from Philips. "Beethoven" on laserdisc with French dubbing is a really nice looking film. The picture quality is top-notch and practically reference. The sound is great too. There is not one instance of aliasing throughout the entire film, which is why I like 4:3 versions of films so much since they almost never have this mastering fault. There exists no laserdisc version of this film in widescreen so possibly it was an open matte release, since the DVD release is also 4:3.
A really great title that both kids and adults enjoy and I highly recommend it!
