Apologies for being slightly early this year, I might not be able to post my annual reminder to nobody who cares. Anyway, don't forget that on November 28th, 1986, the wonderful アーバンスクウェア 琥珀の追撃 Urban Square was released in Japan. Happy 36th Birthday Urban Square!

I really wish I had picked this up along with a few other anime discs years ago when only 5 or 10 bucks when others were on the hunt for lupin... |

Is it expensive in 2022? I got the Laserdisc a good few years ago now and even then it wasn't exactly easy to find and I had to wait a while. I also have the 12" vinyl soundtrack from 1986 by Chickenshack, and also an original 1986 Japanese video store poster. A small collection but one I refuse to part with. I hope Urban Square gets an HD release some day. |

I don't actually know the prices now, its more than the 10 or so. I also didn't get a few of the oddball motorcycle racing or car racing ones that used to be everywhere but now are impossible to find. One is Goddamn: Survival Chaser/Go Ahead (1990) [VILF-10] that zeta has mentioned in the past, some Japanese seller on ebay had it for something stupid like 5 or 8 bucks buy it now and I didn't get it when I should have, just watched it too long and was too lazy. Reminds me of these LDs I have on watch now, should pull the trigger and get them before they're gone. |

Oddly enough I bought Goddamn at almost the same time as Urban Square. That one took an age to find and as soon as it popped up I grabbed it. It doesn't have an obi which does gnaw away at me. Glad I got it though as it is great! Goddamn! is another one I'd love to see get an HD release but could be problematic. |

i grabbed the GUNHED OST for $25shipped the one time to date that i had happened upon a copy on the BAY. about a decade on, i sure am glad that i had leaped when i did... as it does indeed seem to be rather R.A.R.E.
