that's really nice to know. they seem almost at their price goal too.
all considered, i'd imagine the resultant BRD sets will be hella spendy like all modern BRD Anime collection set releases in the U.S. these days.
long gone are the bargain days of the early-2000's U.S. DVD Anime boom; now we must endure something similar to traditional Japanese price structure, which really separates the men from the boys, fandom-wise, like never before.
granted, the vast majority of modern Anime fans simply do not bother with quaint physical media when they can stream to their hearts content with services such as CRUNCHYROLL/HULU/ETC. but still...
alas, i won't be able to participate my support in this, much as i'd like to. i've irons in the fire enough already i can only just afford, until at least mid-2014, so i'll have to remain satisfied with my BGC LD set for now...

I just hope the package isn't terrible. Animeigo is a great company that I have supported for over 20 years but...man their packaging sucks. Their packaging is getting better (I think). I was very pleased with the Yawara! box set, the latest DVD release I've purchased from them. With the fans dictating the release of BGC, the packaging should be pretty good... or it could be a design-by-committee failure.
