Always charmed by the beautiful covers not the mention the great anime available on ld but I won't start collecting them since I would bankrupt myself I'm afraid :)
If a nice title would be found on my doorstep I would be tempted to own one just for science sake 8-)

They did do a comparison video and although it is far superior to the original DVD releases, sadly it is still composite. Plenty of rainbows and composite artifacts to be seen. I do not own the TRSI version but I have the Japanese release it is based off. If I had not put my "The Wanderers" LDs away to make room for the stupid amount of LDs I have bought in the past 2 months I could have a quick look to see how they compare. The DVDs do look good but I remember the LDs being pretty damn nice in the colour and grain department although it is 12 years or more since I have seen them ^_^; I do not remember what the noise level was like though.
