Found this at my local hard off.

What intrigued me to buy it was the inclusion of an animation cell.
Doesn't seem to be any pictures of it on the geobreeder laserdiscs for sale on yahoo auction.

I've had used LD's from japan with the odd cel inserted every now and then.
These did not come with the factory sealed LD originally.
Someone put them in there at some point.
Maybe even to make the LD more attractive to sell.
Geobreeders is good stuff tho.

That is an oddly formatted cell, unless the camera is playing tricks on me. It looks square.

Very jealous, I would love to go to Japan and find a few Anime LD's like that. I really liked the Gundam series but the cost of obtaining these either through ebay or importing them just isn't realistic to me.

You need to learn how to use YAJ or something. Gundam LDs are cheaper than pretty much everything except Tenchi Muyo and those boring Final Fantasy OVAs. Most can be had for $1-5.

Awesome find.

Question: What's a hard off? Is that a thrift or consignment shop? I've never heard that term before.

It's basically a Japanese version of the Salvation Army store full of media and electronics.

More like Half Price Books, I thought...

(sigh - we only have FYE here. Neither books nor LD's...)

I had a cell included in vol.1 of a set of Armour Hunter Mellowlink. Very cool bonus indeed! Shame Vol.1 has rot -_- My first VAP rotter! Hopefully my last.
