Any idea why the Paranoia Agent R1 DVDs (Geneon release) are so expensive? Was it Geneon's final release? DVD grooves hand etched by blind monks? Conspiracy to keep me from owning all of Satoshi Kon's works? |

Wasn't this out on Blu-Ray since a while? Or was that a japan only release maybe... |

Geneon went out of business and Paranoia Agent only got one release in the states. Most anime have two or more releases so the DVDs became pretty rare which is why it's quite expensive now. It isn't licensed and there is no English Blu Ray available. |
