I am selling my Pioneer LD-S2 with MSI technologies installed RF output(AC-3). It comes with the original remote control. It is fully functional and in good condition (for its age). Side wood panels are intact and included. The front drop down door is fully functional. I prefer local pick up from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts due to its size and weight.. I could probably drive and meet you within an hour distance to 01545. I can entertain shipping it if you offer packaging and mailing instructions. Please make a fair offer and I will consider it.

I will update here with pictures soon.

I am moving to Orange County, California in 3 weeks. If the item is not sold within that time, it will be available for sale for local pick up in Laguna Niguel, CA.

I have some several hundred LDs that I don’t care for. I am going to include them for free with the LD-S2. Make an offer above $650 and you have an LD-S2 with AC-3 mod and well over 500 discs. You have one week to act on this. I am leaving for California the following week and I will take at least the player with me and dump the discs.

Bring it to OC (I'm guessing Irvine), I'm nearby. If you don't sell it and don't want to ship it and maybe will negotiate a bit I could be interested.

Welcome to The west coast!

This is an incredible deal. I paid near that for mine, minus AC-3 and remote.... and 500 discs.

Damn do I wish I were close enough. Not willing to ship discs I am assuming. I do have some friends in NY but not sure how close they are. I'd rather the discs not end up in the trash, I'll pm you.

Forgive me for doing this if it comes to trashing them. I have to start a new job in OC on the 16th and I really don’t have the time and muscle power to move these. I literally will let them go for free or close it because I don’t want to deal with the hassle of shipping them or moving them. It is sad but it is what it is. I will likely keep the S2 because it is relatively easier to bring with me but the very low price is for this week only to encourage buyers for a quick sale.

Thanks for the welcome. Moving to Laguna Niguel and new job in Dana Point. Unfortunately the asking price is for local pick up from 01545 only.

Totally understand, after our last move I doubt I will be taking a lot of the stuff that we moved with.

Won't toss the LDs though.
But may toss furniture, nothing sentimental.

LN/DP are beautiful you'll enjoy it I'm sure. Well, If you decide to keep the S2 and bring it to CA and then eventually decide to let it go I'm always interested and available....thx.

A good friend from this forum drove and picked up the LDs. There were a lot of good stuff like 2 complete sets of tng, first 4 seasons of x files Japanese sets, some ds9 box sets and all us ds9 releases, signature series, criterions, the prisoner set and some 500+ discs. I am happy that these went to a friend and I know he will enjoy watching them.

I decided to keep the LD-S2. This was a one in a life time deal. I asked $650 with all the above LDs and no offers. I will keep it as a back up to my X0. I am keeping the Pioneer plasma too. At this point it’s not worth it for me to sell them at a low price after going through moving them from Boston to Los Angeles.

Couldn't agree more, sorry you had no offers here but I for one would love such a player but all my money is going into my home repair hobby.

Glad the LDs didn't go to the bin. Some great stuff I'm sure from what I know when you post about your likes.
Good luck with the move.

I had a friend willing to pick up the LDs if that deal fell through. Even though I didn't end up with some, I am very happy they did not get binned.
