Hi,

I am not giving up my laserdisc hobby. I have simply come to the conclusion that my other player
, a Pioneer CLD-D925, satisfies all of my needs in that regard.

I have also sold some other stuff that I have hardly used over the past years to make space at home.

It is a beautiful player and the picture quality is stunning however I simply do not think I really need
it and it takes a lot of space at home.

If anyone is interested in acquiring my Pioneer HLD-X0 player with a working Sony MUSE decoder
MSC-3000, he / she is welcome to contact me. It also includes the following 7 MUSE discs:

- Basic Instinct
- Stargate
- It's Real - Suzuka Grand Prix F1 1991-92 ( amazin picture quality )
- Hi-Vision Art Library: Sekiguchi ( very rare )
- Okinawa Underwater
- Paris
- Shinzo Maeda: Hills of the Seasons

I would also add a working 100 V step down converter.

Asking price: 2000 Euro ( I think that is a fair price )

Location: Berlin, Germany

Sounds like a very fair price indeed if you ask me confederate, just hope you don’t live to regret parting with the X0 though? Good luck

Thanks. Well, that is how much I paid for everything more or less. I am not interested in making a profit.

I simply came to the conclusion that I didn't need a lot of the things I have at home such as my Minidisc Recorder,
cassette player, various consoles, etc. My wife was complaining a bit that my stuff was filling the entire flat and
I think she is right. But she does not have any issues with my record or laserdisc collection.
Now my home looks much more organised and I like it and I still have enough toys to play with. My main focus
has been my vinyl collection for the past years anyway. I love the sound of vinyl.

I have a second player as previously mentioned that was refurbished by a friend of mine and is in fantastic
working order now. I will never give up my laserdisc hobby but I I don't think I really need the XO. It takes a lot
of space, too.

Before putting it on ebay I thought I would put it here. I would prefer selling it to an lddb member.

I assume local pickup is the only way to go? If shipping to Scandinavia is an option then I'm seriously interested. :)

Hi, I do not see any reason why shipping to Scandinavia is not an option ? Sorry if I wasn't specific enough.

The good thing is you live in Sweden so it wouldn't have to go through customs. So that is a very good thing.

Still interested ?

Reason I asked is because of the weight and that you specified that it was in Berlin, but if shipping can be arranged then I'm still very interested. Will send you a Private message. :)

A solution can be found for this I am certain. Don't worry.

I know how it is to have stuff that you really like but need to make room or decide not to keep.
Good luck with the sale, hope someone gets it and will enjoy it, its a pretty good deal for a top end player which won't show up often
from collectors who took care of their stuff.

Yes it rarely shows up for sale. I will never forget the moment when I played a MUSE disc at home for the first time. That
was quite an emotional moment for a laserdisc aficionado like me.

With all these MUSE titles, it's a very good deal!

I hope someone nearby is interested.

Maybe you should post in the German sub-forum as well? Deutsch

I have an announcement to make:

The player has just been sold. Sorry Nissling, I know I promised the player to you and I know it is an a*****e move but the buyer lives close to Berlin and he picked it up
himself with his Tesla. It's not because I didn't want to sell it to you but it simply makes my life much easier this way. I am sure you can understand.

There goes that. I cannot say I'm offended but you sure have plenty of nerve to write it out on a public forum rather than in a private message. Surely I understand you but I wouldn't dare to say what you did with a straight face. I hope it ends up at a good home and gets more attention than it would've gotten from me. But... A Tesla? If you drive that kind of car you're probably just looking for validation and I seriously hope it's not just someone who's looking to show off with this MUSE player.

Either way, there's nothing personal in this. I'll just have to move on. Thanks for our great conversation regardless. :)
