If anyone has a copy of this, Laserdisc Demonstration Disc: All There Is to Know About (1984) [PVI-001] please let me know ASAP. Working on a project of Devo video archiving. Should note there is a VERY poor quality VHS transfer on Internet Archive.

Please PM me here if you can help.

Thanks!

It’s a very early, promo-only, US-only disc that has never once sold on this site. The guy who uploaded the photo is no longer a member and the guy that added it to the DB seems to be taking a break from the hobby. User laserking currently seems to currently own it. Pester him about it, I guess.

Good luck! I don’t know about the “ASAP” part. You may lose interest in this before you ever find it. It also may be rotted since it’s a 12”er from 1984 so don’t pay any real money for it unless someone play tests it for you.

Why would you say that?

Mint 1x $30.24 (2021)
Used 1x $34.99 (2022)

When someone buys it let us know what the devo parts are, I think someone else posted this in the past but I can't remember.

The other night I was watching an early 80s Letterman clip where he interviews Devo. It was an extremely good interview, IMO, and in it they do mention being involved in “videodisc”…I can’t remember exactly what they said. Presumably they were taking about this very disc or at least the era in which it was made.

Wile I like devo I'm not a completest and don't need everything. Have 2 CDs and the we're all devo LD.
I doubt I would buy this disc, just wanted to know more of what the program was, I think I used to pass on the disc when on ebay
and they were selling in the 40-60 range, now should be cheaper since the fans of devo are mostly too old now to even have an LD player.

On another note, I was searching some LDs on another site and it was a 10 dollar disc, ebay was selling for 20 and here in the shop was 75

That's free market, everyone is free to choose a price.
But everyone is also free to never sell anything if the price is too high.
