Couldn't play a DTS stream from a 44.1/16 file, only multi-channel WAV/FLAC. However, if you feed the OPPO with the same file over HDMI in, it will gladly decode the DTS in 5.1ch. Julien

Steely Dan – Gaucho (5.1) Eagles – Hell Freezes Over (5.1, different mix from the LD/DVD DTS releases) James Horner – Titanic (5.1 20-bit but sound mostly from L/C/R) Am I the only one? Julien Nope. I just picked up that Hell Freezes Over DTS CD . Sounds great overall considering it’s a concert mix. I guess I’ll keep looking for the DTS LD of it if the mix is indeed different.

If that’s the only difference and it’s not even an improvement, I may just skip it then. I guess price on the item will determine that for me. Thanks for letting me know .
