Clearly a child of the digital age I can barely believe I have to explain this bit - If you check your DVD/BD player you'll find you don't have to necessarily select audio track/language via the menu - there's a button on the remote (usually labelled language or audio - how remarkably self explanatory!!) to do it directly without accessing or bringing up the menu at all. Just because LD doesn't have a menu doesn't mean you can't select between the digital and analogue tracks from a button on the remote. Signofzeta explained the rest.

I mean I apreciate the answer, but you could have just explained it, haha. I only picked up the machine last week so I'm not really fluent in how everything works yet. Thanks, Edit: I also don't personally own a dvd or bluray player, grew up on and still watch VHS tapes
