A monitor that does not have composite and only has 2 hdmi's and one dpi. I'm trying to connect my laserdisc player to my Dell S3221QS 32 inch 4k 1800r curved monitor which has built in sound. I seen RCA AV to HDMI Converters online but don't know which one would be the proper one to go with. Some people complain about colors looking washed out and I don't know if that's because it's composite on a newer monitor or if these are cheaply made and that I need to find a quality brand. |

Your LD player only does analog and this display only knows digital. You'll need a converter/scaler between them to transform the signals. But the cheaper the analog-to-HDMI, the worst the quality you will get. You'll have to the DVDO, Crystalio or Lumagen road. I played a little with a composite-to-VGA converter to have a minimal display on a PC screen and the quality is rather disgusting. I got something similar to https://www.amazon.com/Composite-S-Vide ... B003NUN7DG They're all branded version of the same Chinese base model. Julien |
