So I’ve been using my old Retrotink 2X (non-pro) for my LD viewing. It does a good job for a plug and play device on my 1080p tv, but I’ve finally broken down and decided to upgrade to the Retrotink 5X. I know the 5X has a lot more bells and whistles in playing around the settings. Just to get some tips, for those of you also using a 5X, what settings do you use to watch you LDs?

My Retrotink (2X maybe?) is hooked up to gaming stuff. I can’t imagine any reason to watch LD movies on it. I’m not sure mine is even wired for composite as I’ve only ever put RGB through it.

I had one. It's really not designed for LD as it's a video game product. I got better results with older products more focused on video content.
