I didn't where else to put this.
I want to add a vcr to my LD upscaling but my upscaler only has one input. So I will need a selector.
I have no idea if passive units would function as well as those with power sources. Are there any real benefits to a powered selector? Better signal getting through the box or something?

Cool, thanks disclord. I have a JVC on my main setup. We might even be talking about the same one, the JX-S111. I've been very happy with it for anything component, but it's really the only one I've ever owned or tried.
Well, I suppose I'll grab another. They are certainly affordable and plentiful!
