AV amplifier upscaling

I searched for past model scaler ICs and picked two as candidates.

2008 YAMAHA DSP-Z7(USA:RX-Z7)
Uses high-performance chips (ABT2010) from Anchor Bay Technology
PReP ™ (Progressive ReProcessing)
Detail enhancement function / edge enhancement function
Remove MPEG noise
Equipped with 3D Y(ADV 7800-80/ C separation and frame TBC (Time Base Corrector)
※1080p60 output(24Hz output is not possible)

2011 ONKYO TX-NA809 (Unknown USA name)
Uses high-performance chips HQV Vida VHD 1900 " from IDT
Equipped with ISF video calibration function
DeepColor
THX Select Select 2 Plus Plus
Supports 4K(3840 × 2160) output
Supports 1080p 24Hz
ISF image quality adjustment function installed

DSP-Z7 is old, but I feel it will make a big contribution to analog input.

TX-NA809 is equipped with the latest HQV Vida VHD 1900 at that time

Which is better for LD?

I Have both a Onkyo tx-nr809 and a tx-nr3009.
both recievers play nicely with Laserdisc. I have found that the Pioneer Ld-S2 has some artifacts on the Snell&Wilcox test plate and is a bit on the soft side.

Set it up and test it out, remember it's laserdisc.
