I need a video adapter for adding black borders.
With video RCA in and out.
Because I want to try that with LD-G :
LD player -> Black border machine -> LD-G decoder -> DVDO Edge
Like this, I can try to erase the Japanese subtitles and replace it by the English subtitles.
Do you know any video adapter who can do this job ?

I understand what you want to do. You want to mask out the image before the LD-G decoder, since doing it after the decoder would also remove the subtitles. However, you are using the standalone Pioneer LG-1, right? If you have the remote, you can move the subtitles further up in the image and mask the bottom with japanese subtitles. I know this isn't exactly what you want to do, but I can't think of any device with composite in and out that also does screen masking. Older processors will have the composite in and out, but also most likely lack the masking feature.

Samaron,
Yeah ! You perfectly understood what I want to try ! For now, yes, I do everytime what you said. but it could be very fun to do the trick with an old video processor. Or creating it ? Is it hard ?

I'd say it is hard (perhaps impossible) unless you know how electronics work and software programming.
