If you have a good TV then you definitely want to use non-recombined composite wherever possible. 1990s comb filters can't touch today's stuff. I can recommend the same Bravia I have but not much else. :) Its down to like $550 in the US. A very good deal.

The TV I'm currently considering is a UK Panasonic OLED 55 inch at £2000. ($3000)

I looked up the specs, I don't see a SCART connector? Unless I'm looking at the wrong model. The only "legacy" connectors I see are component.

Or does the yellow plug double as composite? :think:
