or recommend a way to get one? they're like hen's teeth... :D
been through several Crystalio II's - too buggy for my liking - currently using a Lumagen XD but very envious of the 21xx series !

This site says "in stock", not sure if this is true:

https://www.hsound.co.uk/product/lumage ... processor/

There was one here at some point:

https://www.ukaudiomart.com/details/649 ... processor/

Haven't seen one on eBay for a loooooooooooooooooong time.

Keep your XD and get an external comb filter. IMO the 2144 is a great one box piece but if you have the means to throw a Kramer VP-77x or VP-460 in front of your XD it's a much cheaper solution.

Is that composite OUT from the XD to composite IN to Kramer VP-77x and the 3D combfilter will be the primary cleaning picture from artefacts?
The 2D combfilter from XD has to be set to zero combing in the menu?

Composite in to the kramer, 480p HDMI out to XD. Set XD to re interlace, 1080p out of XD.

Eventhough the kramers deinterlace poorly, the lumagen is pretty good at reinterlacing and then deinterlacing the proper way.

Can you tell me what the issue with Kramer is why their scalers does a poor deinterlace?
How do you notice poor deinterlaced picture projection on the tv?

Kramer has a good 3D comb filter but poor deinterlacing.
Feels like I don't want to make a mistake wasting money on a half a$$ scaler :?:

Would have thought the company should have fixed the deinterlacing issue with their newer scalers from series VP-773 and VP-774?
The deinterlace issue is the only bad thing with Kramer, they don't have other issues?

Don't know if, 1+ year later it is still relevant but it had no updates:

I just got a Lumagen 2144 in on trade.
