Hello,

I recently picked up a Pioneer LD S9. This will be played on a Mitsubishi DLP tv. The Mits does not have a s-video input. Since the 3d comb filter seems to be pretty highly regarded on the S9, what do you suggest? I do have a video processor (Key Digital Isync) that has s-video inputs and both component and HDMI outs. Can I run the s-video from the s9-->Key Digital (HDMI)---->DLP? Will this chain utilize the comb filter of the S9 or the Key Digital?

Thank you,
George

Just try both. S-Video out will be utilizing the LD-S9's comb filter in any situation.

You may also try the following connection to take advantage of newer 3D comb filtering from DVD recorders:

LD-S9 (composite out) -> Pioneer DVD Recorder (DVR-550H/DVR-560H/LX70...) (HDMI output) -> DLP
