Hey there I'm a bit new to laserdisc player calibration and I just had some quick questions about trying to calibrate my player. I have been looking all over to find an 8" test disc since it seems that my current player (LD-V4400), as well as the player I am looking to get for laserdisc ripping (LD-S9) call for an 8" disc but I can't find one to get my hands on. I see a few 12" ones floating around and I was wondering if those would work for the calibration as well? Sorry if this has already been asked before and thanks for any help on the matter.

The 12 inch ones have the same calibration test patterns, the issue is that they commonly cover up the adjustment pots where they are directly accessible when using the 8 inch one. The important fact is that the disc needs to be recorded in CAV mode meaning the picture is continually updating as you adjust as one revolution is one frame.
