Hey y'all,
I just picked up an LD-660 for pretty cheap. I figured even if it didn't work, it was worth it, but I would like to get it working. The issue is that the motor will not spin at all. The laser seems to be fine, as it moves a bit when pressing play and looks for a disc to read, and I saw the red light in the assembly, so it's definitely alive. It just can't read the disc because it won't spin up. I'm really not sure what would be causing the motor to just not move at all when play is pressed, especially because it seems to get a little juice and spins a little when you turn it off (but not on). Shipping screw is out, everything is pretty clean, no lens cap, don't see anything that would indicate the issue. Any help is appreciated!
