Hello, everyone ! I bought Pioneer CLD-909 (Japanese version) about a year ago. At first it was working fine, but suddenly it just stopped working (all fragments of the indicator lightened up and it didn't play discs), so I took it to repair guy in my city. After several month and costly (to be honest!) service my player was finally working. But ! It won't play CDs no matter how I try. It can read the track data and it recognises it as CD, but still, no playback. Only on two CDs it worked. All of my CDs are pressings from the 80s. The player also plays Laser Discs badly. The sound is okay. But picture is very noisy!! I also can't find any manuals for this player, it would be great to figure out what adjustments I need to check to fix the issue I really need help ! |

I think the Japanese CLD-909 is the CLD-3080 in the US market, and the service manual for it is available. |
