I've just acquired a beautiful CLD-D925. Unfortunately the Pioneer badge is missing.
Is there anywhere I can get a replacement Pioneer badge?

I've just acquired a beautiful CLD-D925. Unfortunately the Pioneer badge is missing. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement Pioneer badge?

Just keep an eye out for Pioneer stuff at the thrift store and carry a thin pocket knife to pop it off  I just bought a DVD player but that log is missing, if I had it I would pop it off and sell it to you. |

From my experience owning a lot of Pioneer equipment especially during the late 80's to mid 90's, the nameplates all have the same dimensions so I would assume they will all fit in the given pin spacing. Also, in checking the CLD-3030 service manual, the name plate pin spacing appears the same including the fact that the right side pin hole is more oval as well. Worst case scenario is that you shave off the pin to make it fit. |

Thanks for the quick replies! I will keep an eye out for vintage Pioneer equipment. Unfortunately it looks like the replacement badges on eBay aren't original badges and therefore don't have the right dimensions. |

Take a look at this thread from a couple of years ago ninth post down, you could try contacting @blam1 to see if still available? [CLD-D505] Can I get a replacement Pioneer badge somewhere? |

My older players use the 35/36mm logo, on the CLD-3070 and LD-S1 My CLD-D503 would use around 40mm, never noticed the difference but you are dealing with 4mm difference. You'll probably end up spending more on the logo than you did on the player. I'll pop mine off the 503 but its going to cost you for shipping and the logo won't be free. So those on ebay are original just not the size you need. |
