Hi everyone,

It looks like the power board for my CLD-R5 is toast. I isolated the power board, and it immediately blows a fuse after being plugged in to an outlet.

Anyone have a replacement board?

It would probably be easier to fix it than find a replacement.

Power supply boards are usually easier to fix than anything else in the player. You probably just have one shorted part and you just need to find it. You could bring that part to a shop and they might be able to isolate the issue.

You should take a picture of the board, it may have the surge protector that shorts out causing this. The European models don't have it but I cannot remember is the Japanese version you have it. I think they do. This unit is like the CLD-D606.
