It's as stated above. The laser assembly gets stuck on startup and has issues traveling on the track, hence the E3 error code. It's definitely a slider error but I can't figure out why it's doing what it's doing.

The laser assembly looks like a car stuck in mud. The motor and gears are moving but the assembly itself won't budge.

Anybody got any insight?

Might be the M-Holder is broken on the laser assembly and is preventing the gears from moving, if you're able you should post some pictures/video

It's dorky cause I just replaced the m-holder cause the original broke. I thought it would have resolved the e3 issue but :c

Anyhow here's a video of what it's doing.



It looks to be kind of struggling when trying to reach the spindle. I think the reason the previous m-holder broke was due to se tension with the gears. Dunno if this is normal.

I used some residual grease in the machine on the track on gears but still no luck.
