I have a Pioneer CLD-R5 that has a few symptoms. I put a new M-Holder and Spindle top (the part that the spring pushes up) as they were broken. But now it seems to have terribly noisy video when playing CAV discs. It will not start CLV discs. Nor will it play CDs correctly. I assume taking the laser out to replace the M-Holder has made the laser go out of alignment, it spits out a P0 Error, but I doubt the issue actually has to do with the spindle. (As opposed to front to back) |

This should not happen like this. You must have either not seated the MHolder properly or did not reinstall properly. Am concerned about if you just put the part on the spindle motor or if you did more, was this done properly. Need pictures of the unit and work you did, not the monitor video. |
