It is the plastic assembly that houses the motor and has the drive gears to move the laser assembly. It attaches directly behind and to the laser assembly.

A picture and the exact part number would be nice so that someone finding this topic in the future knows what to look for.

Part number is VNL1584. Pretty easy to find in the service manual......

Not a common part that breaks unlike the Epsilon Turn version.

I don’t recall saying anything about this :shifty:. Maybe it was part of a discussion regarding the CLD-3070 but this issue is essentially different.

I had simply meant that you commented on the tray issue first, in the second post of this discussion.

I apologize for the confusion. I am glad that you talked to Ethan and got the help you needed here. I was not aware that other parts such as what you need were also called M-holders, my mistake.
