I have a Pioneer CLD-D604 that I replaced the belt on and has 2 problems.

The first problem (though minor) the text the player displays stutters.

The second problem (the major one) when I want to skip to the second side the player's image stops and the motor moves to the correct position and won't read anything popping up an "E9" error on in the top right corner. The disc still spins but stays stuck on the image it last saw. I can hear the ribbon cable flapping as it returns to the regular position underneath as the disc keeps spinning too.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have another CLD-D604 as well where the CD tray comes out but not the LD tray. It may have other problems but let's solve one a time.
