Like the title says, interested in fixing a remote that appears to be stuck on sending a chapter search command to the player. None of the other remote buttons are functional. This seemingly happened overnight.

Help! Does anyone on these forums fix remotes?

Thanks . . .

Open the remote, separate the keypad from the circuit board, clean each, and re-assemble

Don't know about this specific remote, but the Pioneer remote for my Plasma is also glued.
So even if you remove the screws it wont just open like that.
Also check carefully if there might be an additional screw below a sticker or something.
Good luck!

It’s not screwed but it has good latch tabs, you just have to start somewhere and get something like a flat screwdriver and twist it to get the separation started then the reminder is easier.
