Here's the link to the chip: https://www.ebay.com/itm/296537713943 and the service manual https://manuals.lddb.com/LD_Players/Pioneer/CLD/CLD-V860/ can someone help me make some sense of this?

Here is what I came up with researching both the service manual and some pics of my CLD-59 (which is a similar model) for AC3 points.....

RF = jumper W286 / "RF (for AFM audio)"
Mute = jumper W161 / "SRD Mute"
+5vdc = any jumper labeled "+5v"
-5vdc = any jumper labeled "-5v"
Ground = any jumper labeled "GND"

I have provided the following pic to help you quickly find the RF and Mute point (you can blow up the pic to see more details).....

All the other three points have plenty of locations to tap from and fairly easy to find. It's really up to you to decide based on location (the closer to where you mount the board is where I would choose a nearby jumper to keep the mod neat and clean).

As an FYI, I don't guarantee anything by providing this information. I am very confident the points are correct but it's still up to you to make sure you make the right decisions when installing your board. If you have never soldered before or used a voltmeter, I do recommend you get someone to help you out.

If you have more questions about doing the mod, feel free to ask.
