Unable to locate a service manual for a v2400 but saw a brief mention online it's basically a CLD-990.
Can anyone confirm this is true? I do see the 990's manual here on LDDB

Yes. The basic electronics and mechanical systems are the same so it will work fine. The only thing missing will be the PC interface info.
