Hi there , sure hope you can help me...I have a pioneer cld-2070 Laser disc player, it worked great till my little grand daughter decided it didnt need its tray anymore, when it opened she grabbed the tray and pulled it out completely.. I tried to put it back in but it just isn't lining up. It starts to go in and half way in the tray starts to drop.. instead of when it is all the way in.. I see holes in the gears, and someone said you have to line them up properly then put tray in.. i have no idea what the alignment is and i cannot find it on the internet... PLEASE someone help!!![/size][/b]

There should of been philips head screws at the end of the tray to prevent it from coming out, she must of really yanked it. Look at the tray at the rear ears you should see the the screw? Let us know?

Lots of alignments and positions to get the tray aligned depending where everything else is at like the loading mechanism, guiding rails, etc.

 she hulk
but all kidding aside, you would also have to take the top off to get inside, right grasshopper.

sounds like it should be easy since it's just a mechanism issue and not laser or chips etc.

Yes, the top metal bonnet(Lid) needs to come off, I get a chance I will take a photo of the instructions and tray alignment photo section, as I don't have a scanner. This should clear things up.
