 Post subject: [CLD-99] Missing Feet

I snagged one for a really good price (I don't have it yet, it's on the way). According to the listing the only thing wrong with it that is is missing all 4 feet. Any ideas on what to do for replacements? Can I use the feet from my backup player?

Thanks

I guess it is possible to use the feets of your backup player if it is a Pioneer.

The CLD-99 is a "high end" unit.
So it might even have had special feet, not just the ones a cheap player has.
Does it make a difference?
Probably not, but if you are into "magic", you may want to buy some high end hifi feet,
and stick them under your 99er. I've seen feet that cost several hundred bucks (no joke).
Enthusiasts may call them "absorbers" rather than feet I assume.

i would ask ldservice, kahbar or grasshopper.
they will know or even have them for sale, i'm sure you can use feet from a tape deck or other pioneer but
just spend 20 or so bucks, my guess. and get the right ones.
OR get some wood, cut it out and that will work fine also

The feet are no longer available from Pioneer. The 99 has gold paint on the feet and the other players have silver, otherwise the same.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. ldservice actually sent me a PM and he is going to see if he has some that will work. He said that he has boxes of feet and a CLD-99 that he can test them on. I can't thank him enough for helping me out.
