Post subject: CLD-95 Parts Question -- Missing C-Clip?

I recently acquired a Pioneer CLD-95 that is working fine with one exception. The disc tray doesn't open unless I reposition a small pin at the location shown in the image below. Then the tray will open, but one time only -- the pin is pulled out of the hole when the drawer closes.

It appears that there should be a small c-clip attached to the pin to keep it in place. Does anyone know what size c-clip is needed, and where I could purchase one? Thanks!

You might try Ace Hardware or Orchard, they usually have stuff like this. You might have to try a couple before you find the one that fits but you could always return the ones that don't. Happy Hunting!

Ace Hardware... I think there might be one of those left in the Salt Lake City area somewhere. Maybe. :) It's certainly worth a check, if they carry this sort of thing in the store.

I suppose I could also order an assortment of small c-clips from an RC car hobby shop and perhaps one would fit.

The harder bit looks to be figuring out how to install the c-clip in the limited space that is available. Is there some way to remove the vertically-oriented PCB on the left side of the CLD-95? That would allow for much easier access to the area.

The PCB is meant to fold down once you remove the screws.

The two screws on top of the bar holding the PCB in place (photo below)?

Or the three screws on the left side of that bar?

I haven't been able to locate a service manual. Thanks!
