Hi all! After years and years of try to get one; yesterday, finally I got my first PAL player! It was really hard to find over here...

So excited, last night I connected this player via my Philips DVDR3355 to get an NTSC signal... before this, I connected the player direct to my Sony Bravia Full HD LCD and I got B/W image with vertical lines on all over the screen...
But it looks good via the Philips DVD Recorder.

Well: the bad news:
Today, when I was ready to make the definitive connections to put this PAL player side by side the NTSC one; this 700s one doesn't work at all!!!
Turns on the little red light on front when I connect the AC power and that's it! doesn't work any button! I tried with the remote (not the original, but the CLD-S250 one: it worked perfect yesterday) and nothing!

Please, any help would be really appreciated

Could be a weak capacitor in the power supply that has to charge up before it works.
