check the motorholder! It might be broken.
It's an easy fix

Hello lddb. I have a cld-504 that has worked like a champ for me so far, other than one issue: when it switches sides, I get an error. I opened the thing up to check out the problem, and it appears the sled that the laser is on isn't aligned properly. It strikes the disk when it switches over then never fully engages. I looked around here and on google and didn't see anything jump out at me about how to go about fixing the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you for your time to read my post. Wow thanks guys, this is great! I will check these out after I get back from work. +1 to the guide in swedish, now I know what to send to my family for christmas. |
