Hi all, yesterday I bought this Pioneer Laserdisc player model M301 at a thrift store for 13 dollars. When I plugged it, pressed the power button it made a motor noise and nothing else. The same noise was heard when I pressed the eject button. I have gotten the disc table to eject and close when I messed around with the internals a bit but when I put everything back where its supposed to it just does the same thing again. Here is a video of what its doing: I have no idea as to what its trying to accomplish, so if anyone knows what the issue is, please let me know. Thanks for reading. |

It sounds like it's a belt that's worn out, that player looks a little different from the 2 I have but if you can get the drawer open it should be on the right or left hand side toward the front of the player, manually turning the wheel should move the drawer |
