Hi I just bought an CLD-HF7G and I was pretty hyped to turn it on. But my joy went away real quick when I tried to open the tray. I always get the error Code A3. I googled a bit but I couldn't find anything useful. For me as a newbie it looks like the spindle is to high, but I'm not shure. I hope somebody here can help me. |

I found the Problem. There's a blue switch on the turn mechanism, this switch needs to be under a piece of metal, but it was on top of it. Moved it and now everything is working perfectly. A better description can be found here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searc ... vR0ey4v1QJ I also wanted to upload a picture but I always get an error when trying to do so. |

Good Job!! That is the most over-looked switch!! It's the Turn-A / Turn-B toggle switch. It can get disoriented from shipping some times. Usuall the player will act dead. Good Job!! GRASHOPPER |

So I put Batman Forever in the Player today and it worked flawlessly until Side A was played. After the laser changed side i always get the error code E4 and the Player stops working. I then have to open it and remove the metal bridge on the back of the tray because the Laserunit is stuck. I also made a side change with the open case, and I saw that the laser is changeing the side drives to the front and then back and turns again. After that it is stuck at the bridge. Happens every time. Any ideas? |

Side B centering alignment may be bad. |
